Brick + Mortar – Bangs
This new EP from Brick + Mortar is quite a bit more “alternative” than the usual songs we post but I found myself liking it. It has the indie pop with vocals and feel but with a more grunge/grime/alternative sounding guitar and drums. A worth sharing tune.
The Griswolds – Mississippi
Hell, even if I didn’t like this song, I’d probably still post it because of the sweet album artwork (I’m a sucker for sexy album artwork). Lucky for you guys, not only is the artwork good, so is the song. The Griswolds’ catchy guitar and enchanting lyrics make “Mississippi” a must add to your summer playlist. And the best part? Another great song from a band out in Brisbane, Australia. Formed in around June 2012, The Trouble With Templeton has been killing it for over a year now. “Your are New” is their latest single… and it’s good.
